When it comes to woodpeckers, I have lived my entire life in homes that have been subject to their less desirable habits. We've had holes as big as a football (no exaggeration here) in the siding of one of our homes and a cohort of second-year starlings in our bedroom wall.

Out of necessity, I have spent many years educating myself on the unique behavior and traits of these beautiful birds. Along the way I have made plenty of mistakes trying to figure out a way to successfully return these birds to their natural habitat.

Finally, after years of “on the job” training trying to get rid of woodpeckers, I have mapped out a comprehensive and easy and humane step-by-step system that any homeowner can put to action.

Using my skills as a seasoned and successful “do-it-yourselfer” blended with my professional experiences as a teacher, it is my great pleasure to share this book with you.
